Мексикански боб

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 red onion, chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground dry mustard
  • ground cayenne pepper to taste
  • salt to taste
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 (400 gr) cans kidney beans in tomato sauce
  • 1 (340 gr) can corn, with liquid
 Cook garlic and onion until onion is tender. Stir in the bell pepper, and cook until tender but firm. Season with cumin, mustard, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.

Stir the kidney beans with tomato sauce and corn with liquid into the skillet. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to medium, and continue cooking 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve immediately.
